CRIT PIT

The Crit Pit

About This Course:

Overview

The crit pit is an interactive critique space for writers and readers. It's primary function is to provide a space where you can post your writing for critique and gain feedback from writers all over the world. The critique system works on a quid pro quo basis: for every 5000 words of your work you post for critique you owe three critiques. It really is that simple! Until you've posted three crits, you can't post another 5000 words (or it will be removed by the pit-boss, that's me - nike).

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course, which is designed for beginners, as well as those wishing to refresh their understanding of the fundamentals of the writing craft. You will probably benefit most from the course if you have good, fast and reliable internet access, and up-to-date software, including either Firefox or Internet Explorer.

When you enrol in the pit for the first time, it is a good idea to spend some time familiarising yourself with the critique quidelines provided in order not to incur the wrath of the pit-boss.
