Olvar Wood

Olvar Wood Online

On 1 September 2009, Olvar Wood launched a suite of online courses, delivered through our unique and easy-to-use online learning facility, Olvar Wood onLine (OWL).

Olvar Wood's Courses are ideal for writers with busy lives. OWL offers courses for writers at all stages of their careers, from beginner to advanced, across a range of genres and topics. The courses are designed by writers with university-level teaching experience, and bring together the best of university-style writing and reading courses with a more practical and personal approach to developing your writing life.

A Writing Life

At Olvar Wood, we believe that there are three key elements to a writer's practice: reading, writing and reflection. The three aspects overlap and interact: together they form a dynamic and stimulating foundation for a writing life.
