At Olvar Wood we offer a range of workshops and masterclasses for those who want to spend a day honing their skills as a writer. The workshops take place at Olvar Wood Writers Retreat, which is located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Places in our day-long workshops and masterclasses are limited to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to gain meaningful feedback on their work and personal attentions.

Workshops
Run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and include lunch and morning tea, all tuition materials and in-session feedback on your work.
Masterclasses
Run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and include lunch and morning tea, all tuition materials and in-session feedback on your work. In addition, masterclasses include an opportunity for you to gain feedback on a short work (up to 5000 words prose/2 pages poetry), which you will be asked to submit prior to the masterclass.
I've attended several workshops and masterclasses in the past ten years ... You are not only so highly qualified, you have the ability to impart your knowledge, and simplify things. I love the way you deal with people too. I've attended workshops where presenters have torn participants to shreds while they lectured.
