This short course focuses on food writing, both fiction and non-fiction, from short articles or reviews, recipes and cookbooks, food memoirs and writing about food and wine in fiction and poetry. It explores the rich history of food writing, in its many and varied forms, and the way that our experiences of food - how it is produced, shared, and written about - reflect a great deal of our wider political and personal concerns.
